It's the second baby she has lost and Meg and her husband Simon (Antony Calf) are finding the situation difficult to accept. Haunted by the tragedy she befriends new mum Christine Rearden (Emma Cunniffe) whose child Eleanor appears to be suffering from breathing problems. Meg soon begins to suspect that foul play is at work and launches a personal battle to rescue the infant. In her pursuit of justice and protection for Eleanor she implicates the family, involves the courts and her Father who happens to be the Home Secretary, and takes the law into her own hands. Has Meg become a paranoid obsessive through her grief or are there hidden truths and secrets to be unearthed?
