Friends gather for a leukemia patient's (Sarah Lancashire) birthday. Rachael Jones (Sarah Lancashire) is a thirty something school teacher who had survived a battle with cancer. Her best friend Nina, also a colleague is the only one who knows her secret; that the cancer is back.............. On a school trip Rachael tells Nina that Jesus died aged 33 so it is not so bad if she also dies after she turns 33. The only thing is that she has not found her one and true love. Suddenly a young and attractive artists Donal (Ciaran McMenamin) enters her life. He is 27 and Rachael is hesitant at inviting him to her birthday party due to their age difference. He accepts the birthday invitation but doesn't know of her terminal illness. Will true love develop and prevail for Rachael?
